There is a great book called Diabetic Solutions. I can’t remember the author, but he is American. He developed diabetes at age 9. There is a long story but he became an endocrinologist and only treats diabetic patients. He has always in his adult life believed in a very low carbohydrate diet, and has proven its effectiveness for thousands of diabetics. both type2 and type1.
