    I see this as the hardest thing about a vegetarian keto diet, but it’s not much of a problem if you don’t eat out more than one night a week – as we do. My cheat days also help take the edge off food restrictions. Another drawback in addition to culinary restrictions is a ban on most beer and wine.

A typical Vegan diet is structured based on a high carb-to-fat macronutrient ratio, while the Ketogenic diet requires a high fat-to-carb macronutrient ratio. Depending on which side you’re on, you’re probably armed with a study supporting your argument while debunking the other.

  5. I’ve been a vegan for almost 8 years now and my health has never been better. In fact, I made the switch from vegetarianism to veganism because of my health. Even though there are many misconceptions about vegan diet (I wrote about some of them here: https://vegancookbook.com/vegan-myths-debunked/) I believe that with the proper planning and effort you can get all you need on a vegan diet.
