    I understood that if you eat carbs, it will throw you out of ketosis and it will take 3 days to get back into ketosis.
    I might glug some ketones if I ran marathons, or if I faced some grueling concentration task, like a paper to write in a hurry. But I wouldn’t expect this company’s beverage to magically transform you from a couch potato into an Olympian or hyper-focused work robot. They’re only HVMN, after all.
    You can eat a wide variety of tasty and nutritious meals on a ketogenic diet.

    Sounds like you are on a good plan, not sure if you have tested your ketones though. I would suggest working with a functional keto coach such as our functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner Michael here:
    If you are new to making superfood smoothies, I would recommend starting by making a recipe based on taste.  Because the most important thing is for you enjoy the smoothie.  If you don’t enjoy it, then you won’t follow it long term.

  4. With regard to using the keto coffee during the IF time, should be grass fed butter or pure cacao be omitted from the brew? Just stick with the MCTs? Maybe have a couple of tsp of MCT in addition if fasting for a longer period of time?

  6. There’s not much planning or that many technicalities involved in intermittent fasting. You simply have to not eat for a period of time. Which fasting method you should use is completely up to you. As long as you stay within your recommended daily macros or go a bit below them (15-30%), you’re fine.
