The use of “Flux” and “Free radicals” in the same paragraph makes my inner geek happy:) The truth is that studies have shown that creating a calorie deficit is more important for fat loss than the actual diet you follow.  And while it’s true that certain people (diabetics and others with insulin resistance) can experience more rapid results on a ketogenic diet, studies also show that healthy individuals with normal functioning insulin actually do better on higher carb diets.
I honestly didn’t think it would be possible to come up with a low-carb sugar-free cake with both great texture and flavor that rivals regular cake. Such a thing sounds like a white unicorn, mythological, the stuff legends are made of, but don’t really exist in real life….

Once there, though, your body “will be burning fat all the time,” says Dr. Axe. “It doesn’t matter if you’re working out or sleeping, or what you’re doing, your body continues to burn fat in ketosis.”

Share ketoerinb — March 3, 2016 at 12:06 pm Keto is great for keeping LBM while losing. It appears to be a somewhat mixed bag for endurance athletes, though quite possibly the longer you go, the better it gets. The difference if there is any on the higher enduro end is smallish.
