Week 11 Weigh-In: Dealing With “Disaster”

This video series catalogues my attempt to lose the last 50 pounds in my weight loss journey. I’m doing it in public as a way of keeping myself motivated, and to help me stay honest and accountable to more than just myself.

Please feel free to comment, ask questions, and/or lend support to those who need it. And thanks for watching.

  • Way to go Dot! So happy you broke through! When you got on the scale, I thought to myself "that number better not start with 211…" lol. Keep going! 100s here you come!

  • Dot is HOT!.. Love ya babe!… I know you're married, but if you weren't????? You could turn me down anyways. LOL Love your cooking recipes. Keep up the great work!

  • Great job!! ❤🎄❤

  • How many carbs do you eat in a day?

  • Dot "your good you" 😉

  • Good for you. You’re doing great! Keep it up.

  • Good for you Dot.. you are so brave and not afraid to show you are human and screw up too, I would be afraid myself I guess if I was a youtuber and having the courage to let my viewers know that hey! I over ate , or I screwed up .. But you make it somehow excusable and show that we are all the same.. we are not perfect and we are food addicts. I totally beat myself up if I screw up , thus far I have been doing very well on my keto journey BUT I do plan to go OFF plan for the most part for NYE…. we are going out to a Gala and I have been rather strict in my journey thus far with not even a taste of bad carbs but I am going to enjoy my night for NYE and eat as I want should I find I really do want it and hopefully NOT beat myself up for it afterwards. Congrats on the loss. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

  • Your speaking voice blows me away…excellent! ! Also, I have always heard that of your scale doesn't move for awhile do a high carb day. It gets you rolling again.

  • That was awesome!

  • Congrats and so proud of you! You're my inspiration. Love your recipes and your professional presentations. And, you've got a great cameraman. I'm down 25 pounds since the end of August. Down to 176 from somewhere over 200 (didn't weigh at my highest but I know I was a bit over 200). I haven't set a particular weight goal since I plan to be keto for life. Let's just see how low I will go naturally with the lifestyle change. Definitely feeling great and wearing clothes that I haven't been able to fit for at least 4 years. Woo hoo! I can relate to that feeling of the scale not moving for a bit but consistency pays off eventually. Hang in there!

  • Merry Christmas 1 thanks for the pep talk and inspiration. God bless.

  • Well done Dot. Wishing you a Merry Christmas from the UK xx

  • good for you

  • Great video. I’ve had a few disasters this holidays which is very rare for me. But I’m now paying for them I can happily say I’m back on plan. This was perfect timing for me! Thanks Dot 😊

  • "whoever came up with that routine is an evil person who kicks puppies"  LMAO When you weighed in, I actually put my arms up like Rocky… WTG, Dot!!
