VEGAN KETOGENIC INTERMITTENT FASTING MUSCLE BUILDING 1 year update

What an education this year has been. Plenty of trials, failures, success and lessons learned. Always adapting and integrating along the way. This is where i stand now. Fast 22+hrs a day, Eat 1 vegan meal around 8pm that is less than 2000 calories, eating high fat diet emphasizing ALA omega 3, ~.9g or protein per lb., Less than 30 grams of carbs a day.
Oh the joy of experimenting and learning about this amazing machine=)

  • How it is possible at all to be on vegan diet and keto in the same time? Every vegan meal contains a lot of carbs… You have to eat processed food like soy protein… What about phytic acid? Do you care?

    I'm just now learning about this once a day eating lifestyle, and your 1 year transformation really hit it home for me.

    I struggle with the things you talk about in this vid, my energy levels jump around like a raging baboon all day. Things will give me an adrenal spike and I crash instantly making me shaky and exhausted from nothing! Btw I'm 19 years old and my name is Ryan.

    I've been eating as much real food (minimal processed) as possible lately but my energy levels still jump around.
    I want to learn everything about the once a day diet but don't know where to start.
    Hopefully it's what I need, and I will definitely give it a long effort. Any advice or good books you recommend?

  • Just an FYI: I have read several places online that ALA does not get metabolized efficiently, and that little reaches the brain as a result. DHA is the essential for the brain.
