  • I do not agree about the high GI after workout : Whey is already there to spike insulin and it does it very well. And everyone is already taking whey post workout. Also, Glycogen replenishment is always slow, it takes at least 24-48h so High GI would mean fat storage.

  • Pre-workout= Eat a big meal ~2-3hours before with slow carbs. ~30-45minuts before, eat a slow carb source a small amount
    so you digest it easily, preferably with some protein & fat, not so much fiber to avoid digesting problems due to workout.

    Intra-workout= High gi-carbs, If you want and don't get sick afterwards.

    Post-workout = High-GI carbs or no carbs at all. Then 2-3 hours after or later= eat a meal with slow carbs.

  • If i eat 2 meals after my workout with about 2-3 hours apart should both of the meals be high in carbs or can i have the last meal as non carb?
