  • Please leave all calories in vs calories out argument here. I'm more than happy to respond to people wanting a discussion about it. I know I might have been a bit harsh and negative in the past about approaching the topic, for which I apologize, but I also feel it's only right for me to respond to everyone else fairly and respectfully moving forward.

  • Shut up a you mouth!

  • Just eat your own poop. Trust me.. It works!!!

  • I was doing this diet without knowing it ahhahahahahaha my diet consists of avocado, nuts, almonds, vegetables, eggs coconut oil, pure chocolate, oatmeal, cynamon, salmon, fruits, fish, meat, little rice and whole bread and I never or just in some occasions eat pasta
Im such a fatt bitch XD just kidding
I have to say that I'm a runner and I burn looots of fat so I love my diet!! <3

  • too much fat is bad for you.

  • hey you stupid anime drawing fuck explain in a language i can understand instead of this shitty school shit fuck off unsibcrtibes

  • Instead of changing your diet, will taking MCT oil or Brain Octane put your body in ketosis? So even with high carbs, will the fat in those oils do the trick?
I've been reading on MCT, and it is said that C8 and C10 converts into ketones very quickly. But doesn't mention anything about needing low carbs.

  • I'm 27, and have rheumatoid arthritis and probably celiac disease. I have tried ketosis for 6 months and these are my experiences:

    – Better overall health, and less symptoms from arthritis (almost no symptoms).
    – Better skin, less dry skin/dandruff.
    – Never hungry.
    – Less brain fog.
    – Constant energy throughout the day, no insulin spikes.
    – Stable energy in the gym.
    – Effortless fat loss.

    – Very restrictive, especially with no milk products.
    – Less strength (approx. 5-10%)
    – Smaller physical size.
    – Harder to bulk.
    – Slightly more expensive.
    – Slightly slower muscle and strength gains.
    – Gonna have a bad time a few days if you "cheat" with carbs.

If I would be able to adhere to this ketosis for the rest of my life, I'm convinced that it would be better for my overall health and longevity, but sadly I think it might be too restrictive for me to even want to do that.

All that being said, I would recommend for everyone to try this for 1-2 months. Just the experience in the difference of overall feeling, and the fact that this is even a possible way of eating is worth the test.

  • lol "will exercise for pasta"

  • this is bullshit, we are meant to be starchivores. that's why most people fall from this diet. the body demands carbs like from potatoes, sweet potatoes, whole wheat pasta, etc. there are much more credible studies that are pro carbs than pro fat. please don't listen to this nonsense.

  • key toe

  • A plus side of this is that I've lost 10 lbs
A downside is the fact that I'm pretty sure that I'm addicted to peppered beef jerky.

  • conjectural about high intensity exercise limitations on keto diet. that doesnt make sense if you are ketoadapted. muscle glycogen is still topped up in ketosis. thats what gives you your rapid fire energy. must be ketoadapted at least several months or longer for high performance. not several weeks. i do the highest intensity training out there called CrossFit at a fairly high level (state) and feel no effects from carb restricted diet.

  • The way he pronounced 'satiety' 😂 great video!

  • LOL… when he explained the conventional diet he said…"20 percent fat, 30 percent protein, and 60 percent carbs"…
I loved the video though, very helpful.

  • dafuck this why ppl do this

  • Ace

    sooo fancy words

  • KETO'ers good luck sustaining that in the long run because when you slip up that weights coming back on BABY HAHAHA

  • 2:53 he said 60% carbs when it was written 50% on the chart

  • What

  • Ehhh not the most accurate explanation.

  • Wonder how it'll me. Gonna give it a shot !
    Im T2D

  • I almost got a flat stomach during my dad's keto diet and then I gained it back again when he stopped having it…
I might start again, but it will be hard since I still have a stress belly after starting high school…

  • I'm doing a ton of research on OMAD (One Meal a Day) which is kinda like Keto…but I think they use a 4 hour Window where as OMAD is literally one meal a day and they say carbs are find and want you to get more good fat I hear you don't spike your insulin anymore and really lean out but I hear the First week is Hell so I'm scared to start it. Maybe you could do one on OMAD?

  • Can you make a video about intermittent fasting ?

  • luv this channel😀

  • I am a great experimenter and constantly tweak my diet. I found a great app which allows me to determine how ketogenic my diet is before I eat it. I find I use it constantly to ensure I keep the level of ketosis I want. It correlates strongly with my blood ketones but without the pain and expense. It’s called KETOCALC RATIO and has a description at the app stores.

  • Following a keto diet would probably be good for me. I don't eat enough on a daily basis anyway. u.u
