  • I did low carb for a full month + calories counting and maybe lost 1-2lb plus I felt like shit.

I eat all sorts of carbs now and I don't even have to work out that much any more to lose a steady 1-2lb a week just by portion control alone. I'm a strong believer in metabolic typing but I think it's more the fact that on low carb you are constantly aware you are on a 'diet'. Same with calorie counting as the numbers can become an obsession.

Keep the body fuelled and keep it in the background. It'll seem to go quicker.

  • Sounds like you're plateaued. Your body just needs time to adjust to the new weight. After a short period of time, you'll start losing again. Just keep to what you're doing. If it worked, it's still working.

One thing I would do is put your scale in the garage, in your trunk, etc. STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF; IT'S JUST DISAPPOINTING AND FRUSTRATING. Get a big calendar and give yourself a big star for the days when you're eaten correctly. That way you'll see a visual account of how you're doing and know you're on the right track.

  • I have battled my weight my whole life. I tried low fat…calorie counting…weight watchers…Hilton Head Diet…Carbohydrates Addicts Diet…Phentermine pills…and so on. A year and a half ago I started on Atkins and have lost over 50lbs. I still have some to go, but eating Low Carb is the only way that I have been able to lose the weight and not be hungry. Low Carbing is my WOE nothing else will work for me like LC. My doctor is even on board and is loving the results. LC is not for everyone some people are more sensitive to carbs than others. You keep doing what your doing. You look great. 🙂

  • Stop eating animals and carb defuq up.

  • I try to reintroduce carbs after 3 years without them but I keep getting serious depression, anxiety and insomnia everytime I try to get on them. Why on earth do I have problem digesting carbs now?? I'm desperate for a solution. Thanks!

  • It looks like you were always a mesomorph and that seems to be the reason you weren't losing weight with a low carb diet. Mesomorphs are pretty distinguished by their proportions and you look pretty proportionate even at a larger size. A low carb diet is best for an Endomorph like myself. Ectomorphs are those super skinny types that generally struggle gaining weight. (Lucky bastards.) since you're a mesomorph from what I can tell, you'd need about equal parts Fat, carbs, and protein, and a 2000 cal diet give or take a couple hundred is probably what works for you. 🙂 for me, I'm trying to keep around 1500-1800, low carb, high protein, moderate fat. I'm certainly no expert but that's what I've gathered so far.

  • I have gone thru weeks and months of "clean eating" and exercising and not losing a pound. Mainly because I would binge a lot on clean eating and lose sleep cuz of dips in blood sugar so I figured this was a me-thing. Successfully lost weight on high-fat low-carb…and also with the help of probiotics…maybe add some fermented vegetables and/or drinks in to help nutrient absorption and to feel full.

  • You shouldn't go low carb unless you're doing a show or photo shoot in 2 weeks. in the long term low carb does not work, I tried it for 3 months and lose more muscle mass than anything. what counts #1 is Calories and keeping out shitty oils, bleached carbs, and trans fat out of your body while maintaining your optimal calories intake for the goal you want.

  • Great job!! I think that low carb dieting just isn't the right fit for everyone. I have good success with it but my wife struggles with it.

  • I love your videos!

  • how tall are u

  • Really weird… Low carb makes me lose weight like crazy! But carbs make me fat 🙁

  • Thank you for Show us your goals😘

  • Been on lchf for 8 weeks down 2 sizes and 6 pounds I eat tons more then other way ,but every one is different

  • you can't be doing a low carb and calories diet at the same time. Also you should eat small portions. and what is your fat intake? keep it up! you can do it! I think some more studying on it will help

  • I don't understand did you not eat carbs at all to lose weight?

  • Just goes to show what will work for one won't work for another and what will work for that other, won't work for yet another. Every body is different. (:
    Nice video (:

  • I actually lost 19 pounds while following the diet program “fizy unique plan” (Google it). Thanks for the fantastic results! I seriously think you should try this plan yourself!

  • Omg! the same thing happened to me! Eight and a half months of eating nothing but chicken and green beans, doing an hour of cardio a day and not a pound lost. Then I gave up on losing weight and decided to go vegan. I thought I don't car what happens to me anymore at least I'm not hurting animals as much, and I like the taste of potatoes more then any kind of meat EVER. I figured I'd probably be the same weight forever but instead I lost twenty lbs in three months! It's all in how your body reacts to things.

  • low-carb diets work

  • Girl, YESS! #NewSubscriber I've been on my weight journey going on 2 months and seriously I have only loss 5 pounds. It's so crazy! I've been counting my calories on my fit pal and doing my exercises on Shaun T's T25 and still no REAL results. It's not a good feeling when you know you're doing everything you can and still failing 😔 Thank you for being a light in the tunnel! I know this is a old video but it resonates with me so much.

  • you have an amazing skin!

  • I lost more weight on clean eating than low carbs or adkins. it just works better for me also.

  • best reality expectations and explained journey ever… That helps people know to not stop just because it seems like it wasn't working

  • You HAVE to eat more. Your body thinks it's starving so it wants to hang on to every morsel of food….

  • Hello Cool Channel- New Subbie here, stop by our channel and subscribe, would love to network with other you tubers

  • It's great that you found something that works for you! That being said you definitely look slimmer on the low carb diet…. It might be that you were slowly losing fat but also gaining muscle which weighs more? I'm kind of on the same journey myself so I love to see what works for other people, thank you for this video!

  • I am Amazed at how well what ever your second diet done. My daughter who is 20 and I am 56 need to loose lots close to 100 lbs. She has been doing low calorie 5 weeks and only lost 8 lbs and seems stuck. It has been hard because I was doing low carb and lost 18 pds over 6 week now stuck also. So I would love to know what worked for you . We live in same house so it would be nice and more affordable to be on same page. Thank you in advance
