  • I TOTALLY agree with your mindset about sticking to the diet right now so you can get to your comfortable weight and then just be done dieting!! Im struggling with that right now.. on week 6 of my diet but forcing myself to realize that if I just stick it out a few more months I'll finally be comfortable πŸ™‚

  • Ugh that pep talk totally got me today. I'm having this issue so much right now. Because I'm bulking and not on prep yet, I keep thinking "eh it's ok to go over my macros a bit today." Only then I gain way too much weight a lot faster than we want. So then I'll really stick to my macros for the week, to lose the extra 3 lbs I put on over the weekend, only to gain it again the next weekend! I keep telling myself that once I start prep I'll be more consistent but that shouldn't be the way it goes. I should be consistent to whatever goal I want, including a slow bulk.

  • So I have been "dieting" for the past 1.5 years!!!! I have honestly been in a caloric deficit for that long and my weight has not budge. I am 5'4" and weight 130lb. My happy weight is 115-120lb. I am soooo freaking tired of turning my wheels and not going anywhere. I workout 5-6 days a week and do cardio 2-3 days. I think my metabolism is screwed up and need to reverse diet, which sounds falubous to be able to eat for that 57 carbs, 49 fats and 120 protein however I am terrified my weight will go up or I will gain more body fat 😩 I need to get my metabolism up to a good place and I know that will take atleast a year for a solid proper reverse diet…..

  • AMEN! This was my exact problem all of last year too! A nearly constant state of "diet" but not really sticking to it. I'm not dieting yet this year, but I am just relaxing my mind and not living in a state where I restrict then over eat and I think I am actually losing a little. As always, thanks for sharing your story! You always motivate me!! :-*

  • I love your perspective….not dragging out dieting and basically torturing ourselves longer than necessary. That's definitely a helpful way to look at it! I rather just get it done and over with and get back to maintenance than to be attempting to cut weight all year long πŸ˜€

WHY have that diet mindset 234902340983 days out of the year and only stick to it like 1/2 of the time, or less of that?!!? NO need to torture ourselves. Get it done – PLAIN AND SIMPLE.   • I needed this video today, thank you!! I had lost 110 pounds a couple of years ago and have gained back 20. All of 2016 I was "dieting" but kept slef-sabotaging on the weekends. It is so nice to know I'm not the only one, it really motivates me to get my act together and take off this last bit of weight!

  • All of the Trader Joe's products that are "Spanish" are labeled "Trader Jose's" instead….I think its their way of being cute and playing a bit with their name in Spanish…#funfact . So since the Olive Oil you used was a Spanish one its labeled Trader Jose's ;P Same goes for their salsas, tortillas, enchilada sauces etc. Just thought I'd share from one cooking gal to the other since you mentioned it in your vid.
