My highest weight: 333 pounds. Lowest weight was 225. Weight gain during pregnancy…. Yeah, back to lose weight. My son is now 1 year old and I am still at it. Low carb lifestyle with REAL food, all made from scratch. No processed foods, no chemicals, no sugar, no grains.

  • Love these videos. I keep trying to get away from the computer…to bake some blueberry bread, but everyone keeps putting up fun videos. Your food looks heavenly. You are such a good cook. 

  • Doing low carb and no wheat/gluten…nice to see your ideas for meals.  Andrea, have you had a chance to read Wheat Belly?  Interesting book.

  • It looks like we eat similar. I think the only major difference is I actually do calorie shifting. Eating 500 calories every other day. It seems to work great for weight loss and feeling great. I look forward to your weight loss update.

  • Food looks absolutely delicious! those portions are so large one that sticks to my mind is 4 fried eggs, Wow! is this a successful diet? How much weight have you lost? Just curious due to I am only counting calories and have lost 14 lbs since April 15th. I eat whatever I want but small portions and I walk at least 10K steps. If I ate all the food you eat in a week, would i still loose weight. I just think the body would have a difficult time to breakdown the large portion at one sitting and I would feel stuffed and bloated. I also cook all my food, no gluten. All fresh and real as I an get. Good luck with your Adkins diet. I guess different things work for different people.

  • I remember eating well while on Atkins and never going hungry. It was delicious and I lost weight so I know it works. The only problem was not being able to stick to a non carb diet for so long and when I finally ate carbs again, I gained it all back plus more. But it is one of the tastiest and easiest out there with so many recipe options. Your meals all looked delicious.

  • Yay!  Glad I found this. I eat the Same way! My weight has been resistant, compared to times past eating this way. But, I was diagnosed w/type 2 diabetes march/21st,2014, so I am not sure if that changed things, or if it's all the allergy/asthma stuff they have me on that all have some type/amounts of steroids, or both. Took me 3-4 months to loose 10 pounds,(255 down to 245 I am 5'10") But 🙂 Yay! Saw the Cardiologist, Eco-Cardiogram–> Normal He still brought up the stress test, but couldn't argue when he saw my numbers.. Yep, I'm a rock start that way ;P
    Oh & this was all in only a few weeks. March 21-July 8
    blood pressure 111/60 . Total Cholesterol 169., Was 209 (which is only 9 over normal)  HDL (good stuff) 60 /  LDL (bad stuff) 94.6. Triglycerides 72 …A1C (diabetes) Was 12.0 (…?) , Now 5.5 Baby!!
    Now, that I don't eat like a raccoon in a dumpster, my numbers are All in the normal range. Even my liver, which was sky-high. Asp. is 38 it Was 225. Alt. is 54, Was 167. * Fatty liver is NOT caused from eating fat,(jut an FYI for those not familiar w/this way of eating) it is from eating sugar, and to many starchy carbs. Triglyceride was Normal, but 104, Now, 72! Yeah, don't Ever let anyone tell you it's Not healthy to follow Dr. Atkins/Keto-Diet {hugs} & sisterhood to you!
