  • Gee, the united states has expensive food. Here in romania you buy 2.2 pounds of potatoes for just 20 us cents. And no aditives, pure potatoes, made by farmers sold to you in bags that have air going through them and unsealed. As for the peanut butter, you beat us with like 2 dollars, and at oats we have 5 kg for like… i dunno 4 dollars? It's 80 cents for 500 grams. Chicken breast is less than 5 dollars for a 2.2 pounds. Egg whites are more expensive here but we ussualy prefer natural eggs(full) which sell for 10 cents/egg and our whey powder is cheaper with 2 dollars. But that part with the potatoes you amazed me.

  • Frozen egg, potato and cheese burritos are exceptionally cheap for cost per gram of protein/carbs. Sorry about the milk prices in Canada, but in the US milk is a cheap protein source. Yogurt on the other hand is never a good deal (though tasty) if you break it down by cost per grams of protein. Four servings of yogurt costs more than a gallon of milk.

  • eat all of this on a daily basis and you'll get chronically ill. Then to heal the ill it's gonna get more expensive than if you ate non-junk-cheap food from the beginning.
