  • If you are trying to lose fat…I would go about a 100 below maintenance. Don't ever go extreme because you will lose muscle. I aim for around half a pound a week. Go slow with depleting calories to maintain more muscle. Bottom line is try something for a month. Try eating at maintenance with low carb for 4 weeks. Buy a body fat caliper and measure your progress. Forget the scale…use a caliper. It's the best way to see if you are losing fat. If you aren't losing fat quick enough…try

  • Lyle McDonald's UD2 recommends a 3 1/2 low carb (50-100 grams of fibrous) with a 24-36 hours massive carb refeed, followed by 2-21/2 days of a normal balanced diet. This diet has been working incredibly well for me and would recommend others to check into it. Peace~

  • Heres how I did it with success!!!!!  I was 200lbs at about 17%bf so i was prity fat. I started a carb cycle of 3o to 40g on low days and 200g on the high day. 3 low days 1 high then repeat.. I went down to 170 lbs, and my bf its somewhere around 7 to 8%. I got RIPPED as fuck, as Keith would say:)

  • How much carbohydrate (in % macro) is considered too low/much? I get around 30-40% of my calories from carbs – which translates to about 180-220 g per day. If I want to have a low carb day, would 150 g be good? On regular days should I then bump it up to say 220 g? Or would 50 g carbs be good for a low carb day?
